Shop 116 - Princess Diana Collector Plates in Tacoma WA

Royal commemorative plates, trivia night games & hand-thrown stoneware...

Visit Shop 116, where Princess Diana collector plates fill a china cabinet at the back of the space. The portrait plates stand upright behind the glass, each ringed in gilt scrollwork. One shows Diana in a red beaded shift, another in a one-shoulder purple taffeta gown, a third in a lilac suit holding white flowers. Several more face backward so the printed certificate on the reverse reads through the glass. A blue and white floral porcelain canister sits between them. Etched Republic of Cider tulip glasses and an amber cup and saucer share the upper shelf. Figural trinket boxes shaped as parrots and bluebirds on mossy bases line the bottom.

Beyond the Princess Diana collector plates, party and trivia games stack across open wood shelving. Titles include Trivial Pursuit 10th Anniversary, Family Feud in board and jumbo card versions, and Battle of the Sexes. Pictionary, Fact or Crap, Beat the Parents and Logo Party sit in the same stack. A 100 Games classic compendium, bingo sets, a Charades tin, an Italian Scopa deck and animal playing cards fill the shelf below. Dice in velvet bags, a Minnie Mouse tower puzzle and a 3D locomotive model kit sit alongside them. Novelty desk signs run through the section, including one that reads I'm not procrastinating, I'm on energy save mode.

Additional finds include hand-thrown stoneware in drip and speckled glazes, among them a teapot with a bamboo handle. Olive-glazed ceramic leaf dishes and lobster-form servers on blue speckled enamel warmers sit a shelf down. Dinnerware waits in original cartons, including a Gallery Tabletops 16-piece set and Jones New York gold-rimmed plates. Painted wood wall signs read LIFE, Happiness and One of a Kind, and Alice in Wonderland art prints lean nearby. A rack of patterned neckties stands beside a basket of greeting cards. A Grundig wood-cased tabletop radio and a pink porcelain carriage clock sit in a low oak cabinet with sliding glass doors. Between the Princess Diana collector plates and the gift shelves, the eras here run from a mid-century German radio through 1990s royal commemoratives to current giftware. Browse the Wedgwood and Royal Albert china at Shop 99 and the board games and graded card selection at Shop 80 for related finds.
