Holiday Moo Moos cows, shamrock porcelain & rose-painted canisters...
Visit Shop 54, where Mary’s Moo Moos figurines from Enesco line a shelf with cows dressed for every season. A cow in a pilgrim hat stands beside a masked Halloween cow, and a cowboy cow carries a jack-o’-lantern pail. A baker cow with a loaf of bread stands on a tree stump beside a pumpkin. Christmas brings a staircase scene in Santa hats and a caroling pair above the line “We Wish You a Moo-ey Christmas.” A cow-print convertible and a snow-capped outhouse complete the set.
Elsewhere in the shop, floral china and porcelain fill three white bookcases. A four-piece canister set painted with pink roses and blue flowers shares a bookcase with a violet teapot and an enamel tea kettle with a porcelain handle alongside rosebud salt and pepper shakers, a gold-trimmed covered vegetable dish, and green cabbage-leaf plates. Other china and glassware pieces includes a Shamrock-pattern porcelain footed teapot, a creamer, a clover-shaped dish, and lattice basket, boxed Royal Worcester bone china, and a Polish pottery blue floral pitcher and heart-shaped dish. A ceramic duck pitcher with a pink duckling handle, a yellow Pyrex refrigerator dish, and frosted blue satin glass fairy lamps fill the rest of the bookcases.
In the locked case up front, you can find two Willow Tree angels, a Cowardly Lion figure in a fur-trimmed robe, and a Satsuma-style egg with gilt detail. A boxed figure commemorates the 2003 Bon-Macy’s Holiday Parade as a KING 5 55th Anniversary Edition. Jimmy Spencer No. 23 NASCAR die-cast cars sit in Revell Collection and Action boxes. Four Norman Rockwell plates follow a European tour, including “When in Rome,” “Die walk am Rhein,” and “Promenade à Paris.” The oak cabinet holds marigold carnival glass, six smoke-green champagne coupes, and frosted Antique Autos tumblers. Dolls include a boxed Geppeddo porcelain pair. For related finds, browse the Vintage Cat and Dog Figurines at Shop 51 and the Cookie Jars and Kitchen Canisters in Shop 29.
