Veronica's Satsuma urns, snuff bottle sets and a dragon-form lamp...

Visit Shop 18, where Asian antiques, art prints, and collectibles fill mahogany china cabinets and a long glass-topped case. Imari porcelain plates in cobalt blue, iron red, and gilt sit beside famille rose ginger jars in turquoise and pink. Blue and white dragon plates round out the porcelain group. A pair of red and white floral ginger-jar lamps sits on carved wooden bases against the red damask wall. A Chinese double-happiness blue and white meiping vase and a dragon-form porcelain lamp with flowering branches in raised relief stand alongside them. Ask for Veronica; she speaks Mandarin, Chinese, and English.

Elsewhere in the shop, a large Satsuma-style ceramic urn carries gilt elephant-head handles and peony, landscape, and figure panels. A pair of brass dragon vases coiled with high-relief dragons stands nearby. Chinese porcelain ginger jars and baluster vases carry cartouche panels of landscapes and court figures over turquoise grounds with gilt detailing. The cloisonne cabinet holds lidded ginger jars and covered urns in royal blue, jade green, and multicolor floral patterns. Miniature cloisonne vases sit on carved hardwood stands inside the cabinet. Tall hand-painted porcelain floor vases in orange and saffron with painted dragons sit on carved rosewood pedestals. Carved stone Foo dogs and a Hotei laughing Buddha in sancai green, amber, and brown glaze stand among the figural pieces. Two porcelain Three Star God figurines stand together, including a Shou Lao with peach and dragon staff.

A separate glass case holds reverse-painted snuff bottles in original silk presentation boxes. The snuff bottle sets include a Precious Panda of China set of four and a Picture of the Eight Fine Tigers set. Polished stone eggs in jade green, peach, and malachite sit alongside hand-painted porcelain eggs on wooden stands and cloisonne eggs in cobalt and emerald. A painted ostrich egg carries a crane and landscape scene, and a hand-painted glass globe ornament hangs from a carved rosewood frame. A large blue and white jardiniere painted with mountain and pavilion landscapes sits on a carved hardwood base. The shop's mix of Asian antiques, art prints, and collectibles covers Chinese porcelain, Japanese ceramics, cloisonne, brass work, and figural pieces.
