Built to last, just like the hands that used them...
Visit Shop 57, where collectors of vintage carpenter tools and early American hardware will feel like they've struck gold. Shelf after shelf is loaded with restored wrenches, pliers, drawknives, hand drills, clamps, hammers, and hatchets, each one with the kind of patina that only comes from decades of real work. You'll find cast iron meat grinders and food mills with heavy crank handles, a bench-mounted vise, vintage pipe wrenches, and an assortment of woodworking tools including planes, spokeshaves, and chisels with original wooden handles. A can of 3-IN-ONE oil sitting among the tools feels perfectly at home.
The rustic theme extends well beyond the workbench. A handsome pair of wooden snowshoes with rawhide webbing hangs on the wall, while a green Coleman-style camp lantern, cast iron Dutch oven with lid, and a cast iron cornbread stick pan speak to camp cooking and outdoor life. A large glass carboy, stoneware crocks with wire bail handles, a Quick Aid brass soda-acid fire extinguisher, and a striking red-and-black painted industrial wheel all carry serious visual weight. A fringed table lamp, pewter commemorative plates, and a silverplate serving pieces fill a tall lighted curio cabinet, adding a more refined counterpoint.
Tucked in among the tools and rustic wares you'll also spot a "Baker Country Honey" stoneware jug, hand-crocheted baby sweaters in pink, blue, and white, a black satin evening clutch, a Seahawks fleece scarf, a needlepoint-topped Victorian parlor chair, crystal candlestick holders, and an antique hand-crank bench grinder topped with an iron spoke wheel. Shop 57 is the kind of place where you can pick up vintage carpenter tools like a hundred-year-old drawknife and a delicate crystal vase in the same visit. Your Next Handy Treasure is Waiting.

Shop 57 is a hands-on haven of antique tools, cast iron vises, and hand planes alongside a stoneware crock, glass carboy, hobnail milk glass, and a handsome oak leaded-glass cabinet.
A Kerr economy quart canning jar and blue enamelware sad iron bookend this packed tool display, while a cast iron corn stick pan, vintage spinning reel, canning jar lifter, and rows of wooden-handled trowels, chisels, draw knives, and fireplace tongs fill every shelf.
A shipwright's caulking tool and a long-handled warwood pitchfork lean together in a glass-door cabinet, both with original hardwood handles and forged iron working ends, the kind of specialized antique tools rarely found outside a serious collection.
A wildland fire axe with its long hardwood handle stands alongside a blacksmith's sledge hammer and a mattock in a glass-door cabinet, all individually tagged and representing the kind of heavy-duty antique trade tools that are increasingly hard to find intact.
The oak shelving unit is a treasure hunt for hand tool collectors: a carved wooden butter mould, a large turned rolling pin, a red-chuck hand drill, Vise-Grip locking pliers, a yellow-handled utility knife, poultry trussing needles, a tubing cutter, and rows of assorted antique hardware and trade tools fill every shelf.
Red-handled chisels and carving gouges crowd the top of the lit cabinet alongside curved brace handles and a spokeshave, while the interior glass shelf below holds a striking collection of forged iron small tools: snips, wick trimmers, blacksmith-made scissors, iron dividers, and mortising gauges.
A tack hammer, cross-peen hammer, masonry hammer, rubber mallet, and ball-peen hammer line the top of the lit walnut cabinet on a striped linen runner, while the interior shelf holds a spoke shave, mitre box, coping saw, corkscrew, and assorted blacksmith-made iron implements.
A trap set tool with a green steel handle, a leather-working plough, a router plane, and a tobacco pipe tool fill the upper shelf, while a curved iron spatula, a glass cutter with guide bar, a handmade wooden vise, and a red-handled hacksaw occupy the lower shelf of the floral-backed lit cabinet.
A cast aluminum thread-winding reel and a heavy Stillson pipe wrench anchor the upper pine shelf, while large cast iron sheep shears, fireplace tongs, a wooden-handled adze, and a cold chisel fill the lower shelf with the kind of substantial antique trade tools that defined working life a century ago.
A Green Country Honey stoneware crock and a chrome toast rack share the top shelf, a large cast iron Dutch oven with domed lid dominates the middle, and a pair of cut crystal candlesticks and a gray suede jewelry roll sit below, while a black satin clutch with a gold chain hangs from the cabinet door outside.
The star of this section is the towering Quickaid copper soda-acid fire extinguisher, flanked by a cobalt blue enamelware camp coffee pot and blue glass salt cellars on top of the lit cabinet; inside, hand saws, C-clamps, a block plane, and a carpenter's hatchet pack the shelves, while a vintage iron yoke and grape hoe lean alongside.
The tall walnut glass cabinet holds a frosted globe lamp shade, a 3-IN-ONE oil can, a vintage stethoscope, and a lower shelf of forged iron snips and wick trimmers, while a gnarled-root walking staff and natural hardwood rod lean against the lattice panel in front.
A crosscut lumber saw with massive raker teeth leans against the lattice panel beside a tall walnut bookshelf mixing hobnail glass, a strawberry-motif ceramic teacup set, a teal ceramic lamp, a milk glass reticulated dome shade, and a brass oil lamp base, with the adjacent oak tool unit packed with wooden-handled hammers, chisels, and pliers.
An antique typewriter or calculating machine with a cast iron body anchors the middle shelf of the black glass cabinet above, while a brass lantern, a carved pipe presentation box, and a small framed landscape painting share the other shelves; below, the oak tool unit holds rows of hand saws, pliers, tin snips, and clamps sorted on wooden hanger rails.
Two salt-glazed stoneware crocks with crown marks stack on the floor beside a bentwood cafe chair with a floral needlepoint seat, while a pair of beaver tail snowshoes with rawhide webbing hang on the lattice panel; the shelving behind holds a glass carboy, a cast iron shingling hatchet, a chrome alarm clock, and colorful vintage booklets.
A large green glass demijohn anchors the floor at left while the right shelving unit ranges from a hand-painted ceramic mug and pressed glass goblets at the top down to a stoneware crock, a chrome ashtray, and a small brass oil lamp, with cast iron forge tongs and a broad axe resting on the floor below.
Shop 57 is filled with antique farm and kitchen primitives including cast iron corn shellers, hand-crank meat grinders, blacksmith tongs, a cobbler's shoe last, and vintage canning supplies.
A Coleman-style kerosene camp lantern, a cast iron square griddle with a rattan basket nestled inside, and a vintage fishing reel fill the top pine shelf, while a curved-mouth plow plane, a farrier's hoof knife, and a coal hammer with a fireplace poker occupy the lower shelves.
The tall corner oak curio holds a pewter commemorative plate, a silver-plate floral charger, a ceramic miniature village cottage, and an antique black cast iron mechanical device, with a large clear glass demijohn on the floor beside it and a Seahawks blanket and crocheted scarves visible on the lattice rack behind.
An oak barrister-style stacking bookcase holds a cast iron sad iron, a red-handled pipe wrench, and a chrome Stillson wrench on its shelves, while a kerosene lantern, a smoothing plane, and a draw knife sit on top; a large cast iron and rubber-tired flywheel or grinding mill wheel with a brass hub rests on the floor to the right.
