Hong Kong porcelain on one side, Franklin Mint die-cast on the other...
Visit Shop 8, where Asian art, antiques, and vintage collectibles fill the shop with pieces sourced from Hong Kong, China, and Japan. Cloisonne vases show traditional wirework and enamel inlay in royal blue, jade green, and rose floral patterns. Hand-painted porcelain ginger jars carry dragon and floral motifs. Carved jade eggs sit on wooden stands beside pairs of ceramic Foo dog figurines on matching plinths. Famille rose porcelain shows pink and rose enamels in floral and figure scenes. Blue-and-white export-style ceramics carry dragon, landscape, and floral patterns. Celadon-glazed bowls cover soft jade and gray-green tones. The shop is curated by a collector with over 30 years of experience in Asian decorative arts.
Elsewhere in the shop, ink wash paintings and silk scrolls in matted wood frames appear beside Japanese woodblock-style prints. Lacquerware boxes with lid inlay, carved stone figurines on wooden bases, and netsuke-style carvings of animals and human figures sit alongside the porcelain. The glass-fronted cabinets hold miniature cloisonne work in matched pairs and additional famille rose porcelain. Carved hardwood display stands hold the larger urns and vases.
Additional finds cover the Western side of the shop. Danbury Mint and Franklin Mint die-cast model cars come in original boxes. Crystal glass clocks, Lenox porcelain, and Fenton glass round out the Western inventory. The shop carries two collections under one roof, with Asian decorative arts and American vintage collectibles sharing the same inventory. One is a curated Asian art antiques selection sourced from Hong Kong, China, and Japan. The Asian collection covers porcelain, cloisonne, lacquerware, jade carving, stone figurines, and painted scrolls. The American side covers die-cast cars, porcelain figurines, art glass, and clocks.
